NIV Consulting - Networking IT Vividly

NIV Consulting, LLC currently has an open part-time position of Part-Time Inside Sales Representative. In this position, you will prospect small businesses and talk to them on the phone to identify who are interested in or who can potentially use our IT consulting services. You will call these small businesses, fill out a brief survey and identify whether these people are prospective clients that our sales engineer and sales representative can meet with. You will work under the supervision of and report to the lead sales representative in your daily duties in this position. Free hands-on training and job coaching will be provided. Everything that you need to succeed in this position will be taught to you on the job.

This job will be part-time, 20 hours per week, with flexible hours. We can arrange with you with which days and hours to work to suit your schedule, as long as these hours are during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). In addition, there is the possibility of telecommuting (being able to work from your home). This position pays between $8.00 per hour and $10.00 per hour, depending on skill level and experience.

This position would be ideally suited for somebody who wants to work part-time with flexible hours (20 hours per week). It would be ideally suited for people such as:

1. College student who is interested in doing part-time work
2. Stay-at-home Mom who is interested in doing part-time work
3. Retired person looking for part-time work
4. Somebody who is in between jobs and looking for part-time work

The ideal candidate for this part-time need to have the following qualifications, skills, and traits:

1. Ideally (but not required) have a 4-year college degree or if not, currently working towards one. Candidates with a 2-year degree or have some college but have not completed their degree will also be considered and are welcome to apply for this position.
2. Have a good, professional phone demeanor and presence when talking to prospective clients on the phone.
3. Be a quick leaner and be able to pick up on new things quickly
4. Be a self-starter, be willing to take initiative, and be able to work under minimal amounts of supervision
5. Have a competitive spirit and drive to excel and outperform their peers
6. Organized and has an attention to detail
7. Willing and able to be taught new things and have a teachable attitude
8. Have good PC skills, familiar with using a PC, and can learn new software programs without much help.
9. Focused and attentive to the task at hand
10. Follows instructions and directions closely without deviating from them
